Femaletradesperson.co.uk is the vision of Heather Thurlby, who has a wealth of experience in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry, with skills in Marketing Management, Plumbing and Renewable Energy Systems.
During her time working in these industries, she became aware of how under recognised women in trade are. This led her to want to help, support and promote their expertise.
She also realised there was a growing demand for female tradespeople from homeowners, businesses and organisations.
So, in 2019 she created femaletradesperson.co.uk an online directory solely for women in trade. It is a membership directory, where our tradespeople undertake a rigorous review and vetting process to be part of our members’ list.
